Anna + Tyler – Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square

Anna (Bride) – “It couldn’t have been more perfect and we couldn’t have been luckier with the weather and with our dream team of vendors. It was a day absolutely filled with love and excitement. If we could go back and do it again, we wouldn’t change a thing! The planning process was long and made longer by the pandemic, but everything came together in the end.

Crowne Plaza was really a hidden gem. The venue was beautiful, the food was highly complimented by guests, the coordinators made planning and executing the event a breeze, AND I didn’t have to venture outside my budget. My wedding looked and felt like it cost double what it did due to their hard work. And the views from the presidential suite couldn’t be matched! People kept coming up to visit just to check it out!

Our contacts at Crowne were Daneel McDaniels and Aubrey Jacobs.

The catering was provided by Crowne, except the cake which was provided by Wild Flour

Our cake was supplied by Wild Flour Bakery, and I knew we made the right choice in cake vendors when other vendors I hired started talking, unprompted, about being excited for our cake. Just as they said, the cake looked, smelled, and tasted great. I’ve never experienced anything like this, but the smell of the cake actually filled the room up. It was incredible! Liz Stefanchik helped us to create a beautiful cake within our budget, and nearly every guest has commented on how incredible the cake was. Every tier was a different flavor and everyone was trying to steal everyone else’s slices to sample.

I feel like our Florist, So Bloom, is another hidden gem. I came to them with a really rough idea of what I wanted for my wedding (a lot of green) and some loose descriptive words (old Hollywood, dark boho, chic) and they helped shape that mess into something truly beautiful and unique that would fit within my budget. I was so in love with my flowers that I’m also having them preserve the bouquet so I can keep it with me forever! They also were so considerate, working around my family’s allergies so that we could enjoy the wedding without any sneezing.

I chose A-1 Mr. Limo for my wedding because they were the only vendor willing to work with a bride who didn’t want a full day of service. No one else would even look at my request. This turned out to be one of the best choices I made during vendor selection. No request was too big or too small for our driver, Reese, who I basically would have trusted with my life. He was professional and courteous, making sure we were all comfortable, informed, and had proper assistance in and out of the vehicle. If we told him we needed to get somewhere, he got us there, early, and as close as possible for minimal walking. He even took a detour at a CVS for us so a bridesmaid could get some eyelash glue! He made my day so special, and so much easier.

My hair was done by Chrystal Owens. After my hairstylist canceled on me due to the pandemic, I was really nervous to meet the hairstylist who would be filling in for her. I shouldn’t have been! Chrystal went above and beyond to make sure I looked great and felt comfortable on my wedding day. Not only did she jump in to help me learn how to carry my wedding dress properly and take a bunch of photos of me (unprompted) so that I had some photos of myself while waiting on my photographer’s photos, but she stood on a SUITCASE throughout the whole getting ready process to get just the right angle when styling our hair.

When my wedding makeup artist canceled on me last only weeks before the wedding, Jenniffer & Co. saved me. I called in a panic and they connected me with Lori Schiano. She calmed me down and told me that they would make sure I was taken care of. The makeup itself (done by Izzy and Erin) received SO MANY compliments. It held up through almost 18 hours of wear and tear, and many tears. I was stunned.

The silhouettes were done by Varin of Sweet Silhouettes”
