Michelle + Tyrone – Windows on the River

Our wedding day couldn’t have been more wonderful!  It was everything we wanted it to be and more.  We wanted to do things our way, and I think we succeeded in that.

We both got ready at the Hyatt Regency at the Arcade.  Amy Monyak did our hair, and Jennifer Cruz was our makeup artist. Adel and her team were there to capture the early moments of the day, and they got some great images from the morning!

Our first look was very special to us, as this is where I surprised Tyrone by telling him I was taking his name.  We then went around town for pictures.  Our first stop was Sunset Memorial Park, so I could show my dress to my grandparents.  We then went to David Fortier River Park which provided the perfect autumn backdrop for photos.  Next we went to The South Side in Tremont, where we met.  We had to make a stop at the Cleveland sign, since we love our city so much!  Our final stop was the Jack Knife Bridge for family photos.  I’m so glad we had such beautiful weather that day so we could do outdoor photos.

Our ceremony and reception were both held in the City View Room at Windows on the River, with the cocktail hour in the Cleveland Aquarium.  Our guests are still talking about the fun they had at the aquarium!  Our coordinator, Natalie, from Oh Hello Event Planning, did a great job leading the setup of the room.  The gorgeous flowers were from The Flower Petal, and the delicious cake came from Wild Flour Bakery.  The hors d’oeuvres and dinner from Windows were exceptional.  One of the highlights of the day for us and our guests was the live wedding painting done by Emma Miller.

John was an excellent DJ!  We gave him free reign of the music, and he did a great job reading the room.  Our guests were dancing all night!  I’m so glad we decided to go with John Paul Studios for photography, videography, uplighting, and DJ services.  They exceeded our expectations, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Our wedding day is a day we’ll never forget!
