Introduction

August 12th, 2023 marks the day that Alysha Harris and Johnathen Brazzi united in marriage. Our lovely wedding took place at Shady Hollow Country Club in Massillon, Ohio. We had the help of Anna Serrano from Your Event, Your Way LLC to create our dream wedding.

Getting Ready – Alysha’s POV

My party and I were transported by the amazing “A Good Time Limoâ€. Our driver got us safely to the venue and helped us load and unload all of our belongings. Once we got settled in the bridal suite, my mom made sure all the girls had what they needed. Snacks, mimosas, emergency tools, etc. We had our hair done by Sarah Delaine Brides. Haley did a fantastic job bringing our visions to life. Our makeup was done by Tyrra Bing. We all looked absolutely stunning after she was done. She listened so well to our requests and made us all feel beautiful!

Once I got dressed, I did a first look with my father. It was a very special moment for us as he’s my best friend! We both did our best not to cry lol. It was truly a beautiful moment we got to share together.

John’s POV

I had gotten ready for the day in my hotel suite before being picked up by the limousine. I rented a suit from Men’s Wearhouse. Alysha and I had specific perfume/cologne that we bought for the wedding, so I made sure to put that on before I left. Once “A Good Time Limo†arrived, they helped me load up my stuff and drove me comfortably to the venue. I met with John for my interview then waited for my groomsmen arrived. Once they got there, we went into the poker room and finished getting ready. We took photos and video with Matt & John and hung out with guests as they arrived.

First Touch

Johnathen and I chose to do a first touch before the ceremony to calm our nerves and be in each other’s presence for a moment. I gave him a gift which included a gold chain necklace and a photo of his late mother. He silently took in this moment and chose to keep the note from me to himself. The photographers had to reassure me that he was happy and smiling! We took some fun photos and went our separate ways until the ceremony.

Ceremony

Although we initially wanted our ceremony to take place on the golf course, the wind and rain wouldn’t allow it. So our outstanding decorator Megan and her team from MKM Events, as well as Party Dreams Hocking Hills, arranged a ceremony indoors. The ceremony was absolutely stunning. It was very romantic and modern. Our Pastor Kofie Mostella was very comforting and even had us giggling a few times. We quite literally jumped into our new lives as Mr. & Mrs. Brazzi.

Photos

John, Adel, Andy & Matt were absolutely fantastic when trying to get all of our photos and video taken. Their team was outstanding in capturing every moment with video and photos. I had a ridiculous amount of photo requests but they were able to communicate with our excellent event planner Anna who helped gather guests as they were needed for photos. Although it got a little hectic at one point, everyone was able to ensure all of our photo requests were taken in a timely manner.

Reception

Our reception was truly a night to remember. DJ Stan B on the Track absolutely killed it with the music. He played 90s and 00s throwbacks as we ate our fantastic dinner prepared by Shady Hollow. Our cake was made by my best friend’s mom Tammy. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We definitely took advantage of the open bar and the space provided by the venue. Everything was simply… magical.

Exit

We exited our special night with our closest friends and family (AND BUBBLES!). We could not have had a better night. A Good Time Limo drive us off as Mr. and Mrs. Brazzi.
